Day 23 - Happy 2nd Birthday Molly!

Ok, so I am about 11 days late on this one, and we actually missed it totally, but it happened to be the day Haley took her to school for show and tell.  Yup... I would be talking about Molly... Haley's Build-A-Bear!  She really is part of our family!

The story behind her name is that "Molly" was actually Mike's parent's dogs name.  They had to have her put down shortly before Haley got her build-a-bear and she decided to name her in honour of Molly.  Brought tears to my eyes I know.

Anyways, I received a very nice email from build-a-bear reminding me of her birthday and including a coupon for a free accessory... so we went out for dinner as a family tonight and took a trip to buid-a-bear with Molly, Zoom & Zip (Paige's build-a-bear and her puppy) and picked out some accessories for both of them!  Haley used her own money from the tooth fairy as well as her coupon and got a new Toronto Maple Leafs ball cap and a head towel with a sleep mask to go with her bunny slippers and housecoat that she already had.  Paige picked out a little backpack and a fancy headband for Zoom.  (both of which are hard to see in this picture!)

Once home, they dressed them accordingly and snuggled up on our bed for a photo op.
