Day 10 - Sparkles, Birthdays and Kisses

Haley was commenting this morning on how the snow is sparkling today since it was so sunny.  I thought that was such a cool thing for her to notice.  She wanted me to take a photo of it for my blog today and although I thought it a GREAT idea, it turned out to be difficult to capture.  I was taking this photo out my in-laws back door so I didn't set up the shot well.  It is the best I could do to capture the sparkles today though.

So, we were at my inlaws' to celebrate my birthday (again) and had a lovely brunch.  Nancy (my mother in law) was appauled I was taking this picture of her table as she said it wasn't her finest. ;)

And finally... my favourite shot of the day. ;)  Gary (father in law and Haley's current "babysitter") came downstairs and this was the greeting between the two.

  5. All you pictures today are great. Sometimes we see things and think that would make a great photo and try and try to take what our eyes see and it never comes out as nice. Tell your mother in law her table setting is awesome.

  6. As I was going to bed last night I noticed that the snow was sparkling beautifully in the moonlight (actually more like streetlamp light, but who wants to quibble). Smart cookie that little Haley of yours! Good eye on you both.
